If you can't contribute money, there are other things you can do. Maybe you make things, like jewelry, and would be willing to donate one for my co-worker and I to raffle off (we're pooling our efforts at raising money). Or maybe you'd be willing to sell some stuff for us. There are so many possibilites. I'm just starting to think of them.
